  1. Henderson is a very safe city and it’s splendid for raising families. It has a lot of splendid schools and it is very close to the sensitivity of Las Vegas. In some parts of Henderson (In the mountains) you can in fact see the strip all lit up at nighttime. There are also outer edge in Las Vegas that are very nice! If you’re not looking for an apartment right in the sensitivity of things there are tons out towards the mountains and such.

  2. North Las Vegas is excellent (not the ancient part of town near the city hall though).
Stone City is excellent, my boyfriend lives there and it’s a very cute town.
I would NEVER live downtown! by no means. The only public who live downtown are hobos
I’m not too familiar with Henderson, but from what I’ve seen it seems nice, though there are doubtless some terrible parts, as with all cities.

  3. try this one used to live there
    Summit at Sun Ridge
    11000 S. Eastern Henderson
    Nevada
    Got a house now.
Nice house and clean. and two pools. and can walk to the stroes.
Job in downtown. 10 summary by car.
IT is a very nice house.
They have web page to check it out.
    You will not be disappointed.

  4. Don’t go to vegas theres a tiny town 30 min out of vegas called Stone City. I live here and their apartments are perfect!!!!!! Also realy tiny and huge houses!!!!!

  5. I live in the far northwest side of town, it is splendid the crowd hasn’t got out here yet. Housing prices are honest, not much traffic.

  6. Henderson is okay, but if you want a excellent safe area, then find something in Green Valley.

  7. Summerlin is sweet nice or jump valley. There are many towns in the las vegas valley. But look in the city guides of cities in the las vegas valley.

We went here in Aug 2008 and we live on the south strip, where I live is VERY nice, practically priced and safe. The Sedona on the Blvd. For a two bedroom condo we pay less then 1k. We also have three pools, gym, racketball incite and a tennis incite. They are all individually owned.
We are in a gated union with a protect. Very controlled, sweet and all is nice. We have not had any distress with vandals, cars or stealing.
There is more areas to live in. Stab to south Las Vegas, which is green valley, athem hills, seven hills. You may possibly also look at the southwest area of Las Vegas, been there a link of era and looks splendid. get out of downtown of ALL cities. They are older and more bums and hoodlems hang out there.
We have so much here, we by no means venture out additional then our area unless we go to the strip.
Do NOT hook up with a house on craigslist, too many frauds. Hook up with a Realtor, they will get you a house in your fee range and know of the apartments and condos that are owned individually. Plus you have a surpass chance of getting a house when you have a Realtor selection you.. yes a Realtor even for rentals.
Most condos and apartments are individually owned and have HOA’s. Which sometimes make your payment higher. In our case, all our fees are built-in in our fee which makes it practically priced.
Look for an apartment union that has a gate and a fence all the way nearly. Some apartments are open to pouring traffic which means that on foot public can venture in. When we looked for condos, we talked to the neighbors, which helped a bunch. There is an apartment complex on the corner of Silverado Ranch and Eastern, nice area, but when we went upstairs you walk nearly and you may possibly feel the baffle go. It was uneasy, we voted for.
If its a house or an apartment, check out the area and see whats vacant on in the neighborhood. Las Vegas PD has a crime site which will show you everything that goes on. It will be very caring to see if you would be in a high crime area or not. I haven’t found one for Henderson, but if you stab with southwest of henderson you will do excellent.http://www.lvmpd.com/crimeviewcommunity/
Excellent luck and I hope your go was a flourishing as ours was. We like it here. So much to do, so much to see.

  9. Downtown? I don’t reckon so.. not excellent at all. Stone City is sweet far if you plot on working in Las Vegas. Newer Henderson (Green Valley, Seven Hills, Anthem) and Summerlin are some of the surpass areas. Ancient Henderson is not excellent. Stay in the south, southwest or west.
